Orland Creamery makes their traditional fromage blanc by hand using milk from their own herd of pastured dairy cows. It's a creamy, slightly lemony-tart fresh cheese paired here with sun dried tomatoes and a freshly made basil and pine nut pesto. Savory and tangy, this dip is fantastic on a cheese board with warm, toasty bread, olives, crackers, charcuterie, and fresh vegetables. It's also fantastic as a filling for ravioli and lasagna, a spread in sandwiches along with salty cured meat or leftover turkey, or a truly revelatory add-in for an omelette.
