The Hass is the most popular avocado in the United States due to its high production, amazing flavor, and thick, durable skin. The skin of these avocados will turn black when ripe and should yield slightly to the touch. Enjoy these with chips and salsa for your next homemade guacamole, slice and enjoy on toast with a squeeze of lemon, or blend into your next morning's smoothie.

Please note that avocados are a perishable item and may require 2-4 days to ripen and become ready to enjoy after delivery. We recommend checking the firmness of the avocado daily to determine when it is ripe. While we take every effort to ensure that our avocados are delivered in the best possible condition, we cannot guarantee the ripeness level of each avocado upon delivery.

As with all the products in our Marketplace, we prioritize working with local producers as seasonality allows, and we maintain our strict sourcing standards. We list the producer we are currently purchasing from on our product pages but as we are receiving produce every day there is a chance your produce may come from a different farm.
