Our TRULY RAW cheddar cheese is made with 100% organic, Grade A, raw whole milk from cows that pasture-graze, daily. This creamy cheddar has a delicious milk aroma, with a delightful flavor that offers a rich cheese tasting experience. Our raw cheddar is handcrafted; artisan made using traditional cheese making techniques, and only seasoned with kosher sea salt. We believe in keeping our products TRULY raw, which is why we never warm our raw milk above 102 degrees F. Many so-called “raw cheeses” are actually heated to temperatures just under legal pasteurized temperatures of 161 F, denaturing proteins, enzymes, and killing beneficial bacteria.
While doing new product research, our team strongly agreed that if there was a way to never add cellulose and natamycin to the shredded cheese product, then we would strongly prefer keeping it OUT of our products.
