This certified gluten-free flour is nothing more than 100% finely ground dried coconut meat from fair-trade certified coconuts—no added chemicals, additives, or fillers. The rich texture and natural sweetness make it great for baking.
Noted for having a lower glycemic index than most traditional flours, coconut flour can be substituted for up to 1/3rd of wheat flour in most recipes. Due to its high fiber content it absorbs lots of liquid, so increase the liquid in your recipe by an equal amount. It is also recommended that you add egg, chia-gel, or another binding aid to compensate for the lack of gluten. Contains 3g of protein and 7g of fiber per 1 oz serving.
