Known by many names (Strip, Strip Loin, New York Strip, Kansas, Shell, etc.) the New York steak is cut from the short loin, a lightly used and therefore very tender cut of beef. The NY steak cooks very evenly and is a great steak for simply grilling with salt and pepper, marinating, or serving with a bright herby sauce like chimichurri.

Morris Grassfed provides 100% grassfed & finished (no antibiotics or added hormones) beef to customers throughout California. Our beef is dry-aged for 21 days, processed in USDA inspected facilities, cut & wrapped by small-scale, artisan butchers and delivered directly to you via Good Eggs .
