Cape Gooseberries are closely related to tomatillos, bred to have a sweeter flavor closer to that of a Strawberry or Pineapple with notes of citrus. These are commonly made into jams and pies, or they are great for snacking out of hand!
We as young farmers have found our niche growing unusual fruit, vegetable, herb and flower varieties and selling them directly through farmers markets.
