Kantine's Sprouted Rye Loaf is a Scandinavian-style, dark rye bread. Hearty, flavorful, and loaded with wholesome ingredients such as sprouted rye berries, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds. The sprouted berries give the bread a great chew with a not-too-dense texture. It is naturally leavened with no added commercial yeast, and cold fermented. Slice it thinly and layer with salted butter and radishes for an Instagram-worthy tartine, or build sandwiches with flavor (and protein!) that'll keep you energized all day long.
Storage: keep in a loose-fitting paper bag at room temperature for a few days, or in an air-tight bag in the refrigerator for a week to 10 days.
