Organic Fava Beans

These nutty tasting springtime delights may take a bit of time to prepare in the kitchen, but they're well worth the effort. First, pop the beans out of their pods, then, to remove the outer skin of the beans, blanche them for 30 seconds and then shock them cold, and the skins will slip right off. Then you can steam them and add them to any pasta dish, grain salad, or eat them by themselves with a bit of olive oil and salt.
