Organic Romaine Lettuce

Crisp Romaine Lettuce has sturdy leaves that are perfect for any salad, but are classicly used to make Caesar salads. This lettuce grows in tall heads with a firm rib down the center of each leaf. Unlike most lettuces, it can tolerate some heat. Try using the outside leaves for a loose salad and grill the romaine heart! Simply cut the romaine heart in half and brush with a herb vinaigrette, then throw it on the grill! It's delicious and versatile.
