Jalapeños have all the fresh flavor of a mild green pepper but with a broad seed cavity that gives them a hearty kick of heat. They're perfect for kicking up heat in fresh salsas, curry dishes, or spicy gin cocktails. To reduce the amount of spice added to a dish, remove the seed cavity and discard seeds.
