Did you know that larkspur is the birth flower for the month of July, denoting joy, fickleness, and sweetness?
Larkspur blooms cover a spectrum of colors from white to pink and blue to violet, into a gorgeous upright satin flower spike, making them a beautiful centerpiece in a simple glass vase. This variety of larkspur, Earl Grey, is treasured for its light-plum coloration which creates a softening effect from the summertime heat.
Bouquets will arrive with a mixture partially-opened and fully-opened buds. To care for the flowers, place them in an area where they do not receive direct light. Trim their stems upon delivery, and periodically thereafter, while changing their water and cleaning their vase daily. They should last about 7 days.
Please note: larkspur flowers are toxic when eaten, and should be kept away from young children and furry friends.
