Our
California Red Sheep are a heritage breed. Raised on dryland and
irrigated pasture their entire lives, our market sheep are completely
antibiotic free from birth. Heritage lamb is an excellent choice for the
consumer concerned about the environment; they get by on less and are
very useful grazing down cover crops and crop stubble. If they would
only stop eating the trees, they would be excellent graziers in our
olive orchard, but our sheep prefer olive leaves and bark over any other
food.
