Step 1
In a bowl, toss the slaw mix with some of the dressing and a pinch of salt. Thinly slice the jalapeño into rings, if you want some heat. Set aside.
Step 2
Remove the shrimp patties from the packaging and pat dry with paper towels. In a nonstick frying pan over medium-high heat, warm 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Add the shrimp patties and sear until bright pink and nearly firm, turning once, about 5 minutes total. Transfer to a plate.
Step 3
Wipe out the pan and return it to the heat. Add the buns, cut-side down, to toast until warm, 1 minute.
Step 4
To build the burgers, place the buns on plates, and top with the shrimp patties and a pile of slaw. Finish with a few jalapeño rings, if using, and serve warm.
Contains: milk, eggs, crustacean shellfish, wheat, soy.
Note: The shrimp patties arrive frozen for freshness. To defrost them, thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Or to cook them frozen, follow package instructions.
