This easy-drinking batch cocktail comes from Maggie Hoffman’s new book, “The One-Bottle Cocktail: More Than 80 Recipes with Fresh Ingredients and a Single Spirit.” Juice from peak-season grapefruit is mixed with lime, honey, and tequila for a simple crowd-pleasing drink from the mind of bartender Matt Friedlander.
What You Get

Hot sauceStep 1
Mix 1 cup honey and ½ cup hot water and stir until combined. Set aside.
Step 2
Juice the grapefruits and measure out 22 ounces of grapefruit juice. Do the same for the limes, and measure out 11 ounces of lime juice.
Step 3
Pour tequila, 11 ounces honey syrup, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and a dash of hot sauce into a pitcher and stir well to mix. If not serving right away, cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
Step 4
When ready to serve, stir well and pour into ice-filled rocks glasses. Garnish each glass with a half moon of grapefruit and flaky salt if you have it!
