These Paleo Grass-fed Bison Burgers are packed with healthy fatty acids and minerals, plus it's leaner and higher in protein than beef! Wrap them in peak-of-season lettuce and dig in—burger night doesn't have to be a cheat day.
Step 1: Thinly slice red onions, tomatoes, and avocado. Tear off largest lettuce leaves and rinse, then pat dry.
Step 2: Sear burgers on a hot grill or cast-iron pan for a few minutes per side—we like 'em medium rare!
Step 3: Pile on a heap of tomatoes, avocado, and sliced red onion, then wrap up neatly in a lettuce "bun". Grab a pile of napkins and dig in!
Note: your burgers will arrive frozen! Thaw overnight in the refrigerator, or for same-day use, place the sealed package in a bowl of cool water and change out the water every 15 or 20 minutes until the links are thawed, usually in under an hour.
