Good chili starts with good ingredients: creamy Llano Seco beans, meat from our whole animal program, and just the right amount of freshly ground spices. Even better, it comes together in just a few minutes. Oh, and did we mention it’s served with flaky biscuits straight out of the oven?

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a sheet pan with parchment.
Step 2
Bake biscuits according to instructions on the package (16-19 minutes).
Step 3
In the last 10 minutes of baking the biscuits, warm the chili in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Bring to a simmer, and keep warm until ready to eat.
Step 4
To serve, peel and dice the avocado, and slice the scallion into thin rounds. Spoon chili into bowls, and top with the shredded cheese, avocado, scallion, and cilantro leaves! Serve with biscuits straight out of the oven and a dash of hot sauce for a little heat.
