This wine collection features three of our producer partners who live and/or work in St. Helena, a town in Napa Valley that was one of the many spots affected by the Glass Fire. For each collection purchased, Good Eggs will donate $50 of the proceeds to the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation, a non-profit organization that is working to ensure the health and safety of farmworker communities, and provide advocacy for agriculture during these uncertain times.
The fire season in California this year has been devastating, affecting thousands of people, homes, and businesses. Our friends in Napa and Sonoma struggled through harvest in the midst of the Glass Fire, which burned 67,000 acres and 1,555 structures, including 650 homes and 31 wineries.
Many of our wine producers in the area lost part or nearly all of their 2020 vintage, whether due to flames or heavy smoke taint. As wine country begins to rebuild, Good Eggs wants to do our part to assist the farmers and crews who lost work, and preserve and restore the vineyards in the region we all love.
We hope you enjoy this beautiful, certified organic Chardonnay from Clif Family, Di Co Cabernet from the extremely talented (and former day-to-day winemaker at Screaming Eagle) Massimo Di Costanzo, and Zeitgeist Cabernet from Jennifer Williams and Mark Porembski, whose combined resumes include several wine country heavyweights not limited to Spottswoode, Arrow & Branch, Pahlmeyer, and Anomaly.
