Bar Agricole Bourbon Cocktail Kit

One bottle of bourbon, three easy recipes, courtesy of our friends at Bar Agricole. 

What You Get

Four Roses bourbon (750 ml) 

Bordiga red vermouth (375 ml)

Bar Agricole gum syrup 

Bar Agricole aromatic bitters 

Bar Agricole orange bitters 

Lemon

Grapefruit

What You’ll Need

Honey

Each recipe makes 1 serving; each kit makes up to 12 cocktails

Brown Derby

1½ teaspoons honey 

1½ oz bourbon

½ oz lemon juice

½ oz grapefruit juice

4 dashes aromatic bitters

Measure the honey and 1½ teaspoons water into a cocktail shaker and stir to combine. Add the bourbon, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, and bitters. Add 1 cup of ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass and serve cold. 

Modern Manhattan 

1½ oz bourbon 

¾ oz red vermouth

4 dashes aromatic bitters

4 dashes orange bitters

Orange

Measure the bourbon, vermouth, aromatic bitters, and orange bitters into a pint glass (or the bottom of a cocktail shaker). Add 1 cup of ice and stir for 10 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass, top with an orange twist, and serve cold.

Classic Old Fashioned 

1½ oz bourbon 

1 teaspoon gum syrup

6 dashes aromatic bitters

6 dashes orange bitters

Lemon

Measure the bourbon, gum syrup, aromatic bitters, and orange bitters into a rocks glass. Add a handful of ice cubes (1 large ice cube or 2 or 3 smaller ice cubes). Stir briefly, 5 seconds. Top with a lemon twist and serve cold.
