Hot Cross Buns!

These spiced, sweet buns are made with tangy apricots and sweet sultanas.  At Black Jet we take one extra step with these beauties and fill them with pastry cream, bake and top with a royal icing cross.  My favorite hot cross "superstition" ensures that if you share with a friend, you will have an enduring friendship throughout the year, "Half for you and half for me, between us two shall goodwill be."
