American Tuna has 100% traceability for every single albacore harvested, meaning we can trace our final product back to the vessel that caught it! All tuna are caught using the MSC Certified Sustainable Pole & Line Harvest Method in the U.S. Pacific Northwest. Our premium albacore loin steaks are then hand filleted and hand packed, sealed and pressure-cooked, a packing method that retains 100% of the omega-3 fatty acids in the fish. We don't add any oil, water, soy, or other fish—just premium albacore in its own natural fish oil!
Our cans are BPA-free and manufactured in America. Pole and line caught albacore tuna are on average 12-20 lbs, making them naturally low in mercury, and we test yearly for mercury concentrations with Columbia Food Labs.
