ACME's Italian Long Bread is leavened with both a wild yeast (sourdough) starter and with baker's yeast. This gives it a crisp, chewy, strong crust and a tangy, moist crumb. It's reminiscent of the irregular structure and texture of classic Tuscan breads. Slice and enjoy with cheese, charcuterie, and dips; halve for sandwiches and subs; or tear off thick chunks to sop up sauces and soups.
