Stock, which is also called Virginia Stock Flower, Gilly Flower, or Matthiola, is named after Pierandrea Mattioli, an Italian botanist who in cultivating the flower believed that it had medicinal value because of its fragrance. Stock comes in a variety of colors and the scent is light and sweet. Keep water clean and the flowers should last from 5-7 days. Variety received varies based on farms availability.
