I am Heena Patel, proud owner of Rasoi. I have been cooking for as long as I can remember and now I get to cook for you!
I grew up in Gujarat, India, met my husband in London, and we immigrated to the Bay Area in the early 1990's to find our American Dream. After owning and operating two successful businesses, we now have the resources and ability to share our beloved cross-cultural flavors with you.
It’s been a long journey, but we now have the privilege to introduce you to Rasoi. With original Gujarati recipes and Bay Area ingredients, we’re bringing you tastes that you haven’t experienced before.
Some of our specialties include: black masoor dal, saag paneer with fenugreek leaves, and Jeera rice, all in honor of Gujarati traditions.
We are very excited to provide our unique Gujarati cuisine to the beautiful Bay Area. With the help of my La Cocina family, we are ready to take you to the streets of Gujarat today!
