Champagne Piollot

Roland Piollot is a 5th generation grower in Champagne, who upon taking over his family's land, stopped the practice of selling their grapes to negotiants and the great Champagne houses, and instead started making their own Champagne. This allows Champagne Piollot to do things their own way. They are farming completely organically, with many biodynamic principles used as well. It allows them to highlight their terroir, their old vines, most over 40 years old, and unique varietals, such as a Champagne made from 100% Pinot Blanc.
