Parusso

Parusso

Piedmont, Italy
Marco Parusso's family has been growing grapes on their family's 54-acre vineyard since 1901. His grandfather started selling grapes to his friends to make wine and to local cooperative wineries.

It wasn't until Marco's father Armando took the reigns that the family started making their own wines under their own label. Marco is a strong proponent of using natural viticulture techniques instead of chemicals to keep his vines healthy, using micro-zoning of soils based on the individual characteristics of each plot, and giving individual attention to each and every section of the vineyard, adjusting for any particular needs of the vines.

“The purpose of our work is to ensure the longest natural life cycle of the plant in order to obtain the highest quality and most balanced grapes.”
