Mole is a classic Mexican sauce with countless variations, usually featuring fruit, chile peppers, and some sort of nut or seed. Mission: Heirloom's Mole Negro Paste is made with sweet plaintains and tomatoes, spicy ancho chile, and nutty sesame seeds, plus other great spices for complexity. We suggest heating it with a bit of water or broth to thin it for sauce, or using it as a rub or marinade for meats and veggies.
