The Mattiasson family are committed organic farmers and have been involved in the organic food and farming world for 25+ years. The business started by a husband/wife team in 2003 after making home wine for nearly 10 years. Steve's expertise in the vineyards and Jill's background in promoting sustainable farming practices make for a great team. They practice regenerative farming, trying to increase habitat for beneficial insects and wildlife. All of their employees have full health insurance benefits, with provided ongoing education on vineyard management practices, english classes, improving computer skills, chemistry classes, etc.
