Founder Brittany Fuisz began Malibu Mylk as an answer to a plant-based milk alternative after experiencing health issues and embarking on an elimination diet. She chose flaxseed as she knew it was a natural emulsifier from her culinary background and its great nutritional aspects. Additionally, flax is sustainable - its flowers rely on natural rainfall whereas most other grains used in other milk alternatives require heavy amounts of water for production. Malibu Mylk utilizes full, ground flaxseed mixed with purified water, allowing the full spectrum of nutrients to be found in their products. Their milks are also glyphosate-free (weed-killer free). As a woman-owned business, Malibu Mylk is proud to serve a plant-based milk in a growing category that is both creamy, nutritional, sustainable, and as a company gives back to the community through non-profit work.
