Leopold Brothers Aperitivo is a classic Italian-style amaro. Its main components are bitter gentian, citrusy grapefruit and coriander, flowering botanicals for aroma, and a bit of cane sugar for sweetness. Leopold Brothers uses traditional cochineal for color, rather than the artificial red dye that's become common among most producers. This Aperitivo is a key ingredient for classic cocktails such as a Negroni, a Boulevardier, or a spritz. Cochineal is a naturally derived ingredient that is not suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
