Established in 2018 by Pastry Chef Sahar Shomali, Kouzeh Bakery’s mission is to introduce Persian bread to the community. With past experience working at locations such as Spago and The Hearth and Hound, she has created an assortment of bread found in different regions of Iran. Long fermentation methods and aged sourdough cultures are employed for these traditional breads along with use of only premium ingredients. Open fires and brick ovens help to contribute flavors and textures that set their bread apart from other regional breads. With recipes passed down from generation to generation, Kouzeh Bakery ensures that the quality and standards of everything they produce is exceptional.
