South Indian Filter Coffee Ice Cream

Small batch and Bay Area made ice cream using locally sourced ingredients. This Southern Indian Filter Coffee Ice Cream is a blend of coffee and chicory, similar to New Orleans coffee. Koolfi Creamery has partnered with a family-owned coffee roaster, Ministy of Kaapi, for their medium roast beans from Chickmagalur in South India. They then blend these beans with dark roasted chicory which creates a sweet and milky flavor. Add a scoop to a cup of black coffee for a quick latte.

Ingredients: organic ice cream base (cream, non-fat milk, cane sugar, egg yolks), coffee beans, chicory beans.
