Klassic Koolfi (Malai) Ice Cream

Small batch, Bay Area made ice cream using locally sourced ingredients. This Klassic Koolfi (Malai) Ice Cream is Koolfi's rendition of the classic Indian street food "Malai Kulfi", which is a creamy popsicle made with slow cooked milk infused with spices and nuts. Koolfi's version hopes to remind you of rich Indian cultural history mixed in with creamy French custard ice cream technique. They've also added cardamom, rose water, and saffron to bring a layer of complexity that goes well with chopped pistachios and walnuts.

Ingredients: organic ice cream base (cream, non-fat milk, cane sugar, egg yolks), sweetened condensed milk (milk, sugar), pistachios, walnuts, cardamom, rose water, saffron.
