These beautiful bunches of Ranunculus are a sure sign that spring is in the air. The name comes from late latin and means "little frog", which probably has to do with the fact that they grow near water. This particular variety of Ranunculus is also called Persian Buttercup. Colors may vary from pinks to oranges and reds. These beautiful blossoms are long lasting and become even more beautiful as they open, with layers of petals that unfold to reveal a velvety center.
