Hip Chick Farms' story begins 20 years ago with Chef Jen cooking at Chez Panisse with the legendary Alice Waters. For the last 13 years, she has been the private chef for a family serving young children. Two years ago, our family bought a farm in Sebastopol in order to raise our daughter while living out our beliefs in sustainable food systems - and started Hip Chick Farms!
We are passionate about using only the best ingredients to make gourmet, artisan frozen products in hip, fun packaging that you can feel good about eating and serving to your family. Our products are all natural, wholesome real food from start to finish, crafted with humanely raised chicken and free from added preservatives and fillers.
