Gratta Wines

Gratta Wines was established by Barbara Gratta in San Francisco's Bayview neighborhood when Barbara had her garage licensed as a bonded winery in 2006. In Italian, "gratta" means "from scratch," and that is just how Barbara Gratta makes her wines. Beginning with sustainably grown grapes from the old vines of Teldeschi Vineyards in Dry Creek Valley, Gratta moves meticulously through the crush, fermentation, pressing, barreling and bottling to create a true hand-crafted wine.
