Beemster XO Gouda

Nicknamed "cheese candy" by connoisseurs for its complex, deep notes of butterscotch, whiskey and pecan, Beemster X.O Gouda is a truly spectacular cheese for almost any use. Aged a minimum of 26 months, this richly golden Gouda is hard and slightly crumbly when sliced, with a lingering, melting, creamy mouthfeel. Slice it thinly and layer into sandwiches, shave it over gratins or roasted veggies, or add it to a cheese plate with tart fruit and quince jam.
