Gold Oak Ranch is the product of a 20-year working relationship between Jose Luis Melendez and David Scheuring. The Partnership grows organic mandarins and conventional almonds, walnuts, and pistachios at three locations in the Capay Valley: Rumsey, Brooks, and in Esparto at Gold Oak Ranch. Yolo County’s second-largest oak resides at the Esparto location, giving the partnership its name. The Gold Oak Partnership is dedicated to sustainable production in a pleasant and satisfying work environment.
