The first of Golden State Cider's "CA Farms Series" to be canned, Newton Pippin Hard Cider features heirloom dry-farmed Newtown Pippins from Five Mile Orchards, a multi-generational family farm located in the historic apple growing area of Corralitos. The drier climate of the Pajaro Valley concentrates aromatics in the fruit for an intense, rich cider with notes of honey, melon, lemon, lime, and grassy meadows. On the palate the mouthfeel is full and crisp. Rich flavors of caramelized honey, apple skin, peppercorns, and apple brandy lend a perceived sweetness to this bone dry, unfiltered, effervescent cider.
