Fat + Flour
Fat + Flour makes beautiful and delicious desserts such as pies, cookies, and other treats right out of their small shop in historic Downtown LA’s Grand Central Market. It is founded by Nicole Rucker, a chef and author from Los Angeles. Nicole was the pastry chef of the Gjelina Group and is known internationally for her rustic styled desserts. She has won many awards as a chef and also for her pies in competitions such as the National Pie Championship, KCRW Good Food Pie contest. Furthermore, she has just published her first cookbook and has been recently nominated for a James Beard Award for baking. As head chef of Fat + Flour, she uses locally sourced and seasonal produce for her products. Decadent, classic, but with twists, Fat + Flour is loved for their vast assortment and its high quality baked goods.
