Down to Cook was founded by Trishna. It started in a commercial kitchen in Oakland and sold all the mixes at East Bay Farmers’ Markets. Adda Veggie is a shelf-stable dry mix that is specially designed to be used with vegetables, which makes it both healthier and more affordable than meat analogs. Unlike pre-made patties, it fits into traditional cultural cuisines – just swap in for the ground meat in your favorite dishes. These products are designed with inclusivity in mind. All products are soy-free, gluten-free, non-GMO and vegan. Adda Veggie is produced in a co-packing facility in the Bay Area.
