Makhir Ginger

This Makhir Ginger is grown by organic farmers in Khatkasla, Meghalaya up on the Jaintia hills and is sourced by Zizira, a group of Meghalaya locals that hope to connect their farmers to better markets. Their ginger is a tiny heirloom variety with strong flavor and notes of caramel and hachiya persimmon.
