Caraccioli Cellars

Located in the northern Santa Lucia Highlands of Salinas Valley, this family harvests grapes on their vineyard alongside other organic crops such as lettuce, broccoli, and celery. Abandoning the use of pesticides or herbicides, and rarely utilizing irrigation, their vineyard is sustainably certified through SIP. Being 4th generation farmers and understanding the climate and lay of their land, they control the entire process of growing grapes to the cellar practices. They harvest their grapes at night, only pressing to 120 gallons/ton, and then harvest into small totes of 25 lbs, which allows no crushing or oxidation. Caraccioli Cellars’ goal is to provide the best expression of their vineyard and wine.
