Take a break from turkey. This freshly packed tuna salad is all mixed up and ready to pile onto croissants and layer with slices of tart apple and sharp cheese.

Step 1
Split the croissants in half. Core and thinly slice the apples. Break the Cheddar into triangles.
Step 2
To build the sandwiches, place the croissants on plates, and lay a few apple slices on one side and Cheddar pieces on the other. Pile the tuna salad in the middle and press the sides together.
Step 3
Serve the tuna sandwiches right away. Or wrap them and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
