Step 1

Preheat a gas or charcoal grill to medium heat. Break the graham crackers in half. Break the chocolate bars into squares. Using long skewers, toast the marshmallows a few inches from the heat, until light or dark golden, according to taste. To build the s’mores, place half a graham cracker on a plate, stack with a couple of chocolate squares, and top with a toasted marshmallow. Gently smash together the halves and serve warm.
