Dry-Farmed Black Mission Figs

Grown on Ogando Acres in Winters, CA, these Black Mission Figs are brought to us by Jeremy Murdock. They're grown on 100-year-old trees with no inputs: no fertilizers, no pesticides, not even any water. The result is figs that are somewhat less plump and have a concentrated flavor that's half way towards being a Fig Newton.
