Step 1
Cut the broccoli into florets. In a pot fitted with a steamer, pour in 2 inches of water and bring to a simmer. Add the broccoli, cover, and steam until tender, 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer to a bowl, add the juice of ½ lemon, and season with salt and pepper. In a small saucepan over low heat, reheat the cheese sauce until warm, 3 to 5 minutes. Pour the cheese sauce over the broccoli, or serve alongside as a dip.
