Capsicum annuum70 days to harvest
The purple
beauty bell is bountiful and showy! These dark purple (you can see red
too) peppers with their thick walls and bright green interiors are a
show stopper in any salad. We love crunchy veggies at Blue Egg and these
peppers are crisp and mildly sweet.
Transplant seedlings 12"
between plants and 24" between rows in a well-draining bed with at least
eight hours of sun. Irrigate consistently. As soon as the plant is in
the ground, set up stakes or a cage to stabilize the pepper plant and
keep the peppers out of the soil once it begins to fruit.
We have additional varieties and sizes of organic seedlings available for delivery through Good Eggs, which you can find on our
current availability list.
