This particular lot comes from the Kochere Woreda of the Gedeo zone. Chelelektu offers vibrant, fruited aromatics and flavors that are packed with berry fruit. These flavors come from how the coffee cherries are handled after picking, as they are allowed to dry in side the fruit (like raisins) without the use of water to remove the mucilage surrounding the seed.
