Our mission is to provide consistent, restaurant quality, fairly priced, gourmet soup varieties driven by seasonal products and sourced locally.

After years of preparing gourmet food for high-end establishments like the Ritz Carlton, Chef Rob brings a refined product that most people rarely experience.  Focusing primarily on the freshest, best tasting, local, organic ingredients available, coupled with classic techniques, each soup paints its own picture.  By seeking out such quality ingredients, he strives to simply enhance their natural beauty and perfection.

If it’s not broken, don’t fix it – let it sing!

Extremely approachable, Rob’s soups are seasonal and simple:  natural ingredients with natural pairings and flavor affinities.  All soups are frozen fresh and sealed in a virtually oxygen free environment via the ‘cryovac’ technology.

Big Cup occasionally ventures out beyond soup upon discovering something that must be shared.  Rob’s partner in crime, Tina Marie, also has a few tricks up her sleeve.  We will start with her signature cookies, ready to bake at will to enjoy right out of the oven.

Visit us at the Playa Vista Farmers Market on Saturdays 9am -2pm, and Wednesdays (starting May 7th) from 4pm-8pm.
