Duncan MacCallum and F.W. Brickmann founded the Benromach Distillery Company in 1898. Benromach handcrafts their single malt scotch whisky slowly in the time-honored Scottish tradition. Their three distillers use only the finest natural ingredients and orchestrate every second of the distillation process—they believe there are no shortcuts to perfection. Benromach's spirits are all approved under UK Soil Association standards for growing the ingredients, distillation, maturation and bottling. They make it specifically to keep the classic pre-1960s Speyside character: beautifully balanced, with a light touch of smoke.
